Rainey’s passion is in building relationships and providing his clients with confidence and clarity in their financial future. His approach is rooted in genuine partnership, taking time to understand not just the numbers, but client’s values, objectives, and concerns.
Rainey recognizes that life is full of transitions and that a comprehensive financial plan should account for all of life’s different financial stages. He takes a comprehensive approach to advising, helping ensure his clients’ investments directly support their overarching life goals. Whether it is partnering with businesses, optimizing investment portfolios, planning for client’s retirement, creating charitable giving strategies, or preparing the next generation; every recommendation is tailored to client’s unique situation.
Rainey has attained his Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 securities registrations and life and health insurance licenses. Since joining Loft Advisors in 2013, he also earned the professional financial planning designations of Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®, awarded by the College for Financial Planning to those who create, implement and maintain retirement plans for businesses as well as the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®, a designation awarded by the National Association of Plan Advisors for those specializing in retirement plans.
Rainey and his wife, Brittany, are proud parents of two children: their daughter, Josie, and their son, Baylor. Rainey and Brittany are active members of their church and community. He serves on multiple boards, including the Sioux Falls Prayer Breakfast and the Salvation Army of Sioux Falls. In his free time, Rainey enjoys golfing as well as hunting, fishing and traveling with family and friends.
