Jason Spicer joined the First Dakota Wealth & Trust team in September 2020. Jason specializes in trust administration, investment management, and retirement planning. Jason received a Bachelor of Science Degree as well as two Master’s Degrees from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. Jason is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). He recently obtained the Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM) designation. Prior to First Dakota, Jason worked at First National Bank in Sioux Falls specializing in retirement plans.
Jason is originally from Sioux Falls. Jason likes putting time into volunteering and the community. He serves as Board Treasurer of the Safe Place of Eastern South Dakota and Treasurer of the Mitchell Area Charitable Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and the occasional fishing and hunting trip.
