Dianne Harris

Dianne Harris is a Senior Vice President in the Wealth and Trust Department of First Dakota National Bank in Sioux Falls. She joined the First Dakota Wealth and Trust team in June 2010. She has served in the financial industry since 1987, and has been involved in trust activities since 1990. Dianne specializes in personal and non-profit endowment investment management, estate planning, as well as settlement, trust administration, real estate management, retirement planning and IRAs.

Dianne’s formal education includes an Associate’s Degree in Data Processing/Business from Dakota State University, and additional education from the University of Sioux Falls. She is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School at Boston University, and Personal Trust Advanced Administration School at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She holds professional designations of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) from the Institute of Certified Bankers and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Professional community involvement includes being a charter member of the University of South Dakota’s Planned Giving Council, serving on the Sioux Falls Estate Planning Council Board of Directors (past president), and a member of the Sioux Falls Investment Society.

Dianne also knows the importance of being involved in the community in which she lives. She is a founding member of the Harrisburg Activities Foundation, respectfully called the Tiger Nation Foundation, having served as both Vice President and Secretary. She currently serves on the Sioux Council Boy Scouts of America Board of Directors as At-Large Executive Committee member, previously serving as Vice President of Finance. She is a Board Member and Finance Committee Member at Dow Rummel Village. She served on the local Metro Organization Multi-Use Trail Study Task Force, and has been involved in Boy Scouts Corporate Friends of Scouting campaigns, co-chairing for two years. She is an active member of the Harrisburg United Methodist Church, where she has served various Board positions.
